The Café
Not far from the main train station and easily accessible by the U9 and U6 lines, in the heart of Wedding's Sprengelkiez district, lies Café Mansfield Park, which is also a concept store. Here, baking classes are held and baked for café customers. You can eat and purchase cakes in a minimalist atmosphere, surrounded by plants on comfortable sofas. The ingredients I use for my cakes are available for purchase here, too. Packaged in reusable glass jars, my more than fair-trade chocolates are offered, along with aromatic organic Ceylon cinnamon, bright green pistachio nuts, and the best vanilla paste. You'll also find a selection of sustainable kitchen utensils and containers. Examples include reusable silicone bags for freezing freshly strained fruit puree or chocolate chip cookies, measuring cups, and colorful storage containers from Mepal. The café in the Sprengelkiez, which is actually more of a concept store, revolves around sustainability, which has become the central theme of Mansfield Park. The concept is sustainability.
