You can stack them, they look beautiful and they are sustainable. We love mason jars, which is why we have a rich stock of reusable jars with lids, nothing is bought new. So if you don't have one at home or don't live in Berlin, then have your baking ingredient filled into a suitable screw-top jar! 
To help you choose the right size:
S = up to 6 tablespoons and 200 g
M = 250 to 1000 g
L = anything over 1000g, such as larger amounts of flour and sugar
